Chic is light, but sophisticated, coloured in red, of course, because this colour is very feminine; it is not virgin-like, but passionate. For this purpose the simple and enchanted red colour was chosen, the shape of the bottle is simple, and the perfume itself is a perfect balance between freshness and elegant sensuality. The top notes of the fragrance include Bulgarian rose and red freesia, the middle notes consist of mandarin blossom and orange. The base notes are voluptuous vanilla and white musk. Chic was created by Alberto Morillas and Jacques Cavallier. Venezuelan-born American designer Carolina Herrera recognised her fashion house in 1980. The designer's chic, beautiful fashions achieved instant success. The brand launched its first perfume, the eponymous Carolina Herrera for women, in 1988, and has launched a series of positive fragrances for men and women over the years. The company lengthened its offering with the CH Carolina Herrera lifestyle brand in 2008, which includes fixtures and home goods in addition to fashions, as well as a new series of perfumes for men and women under the CH label. Carolina Herrera has over 40 perfumes in their fragrance collection. The earliest edition was created in 1991 and the latest is from 2012. Carolina Herrera fragrances were made in partnership with perfumers Alberto Morillas, Rosendo Mateu, Ann Gottlieb, Emilie (Bevierre) Coppermannn, Carlos Benaim, Clement Gavarry, Olivier Cresp, Carolina Adriana Herrera, Jacques Cavallier and Jean-Marc Chaillan.
